“MareSea The Word”

The word “MareSea [Maresi]” in Greek is a word that allows one to express their approval of anything that is to one’s liking, such as another person, a city, a landscape and thousands of other things… such as flavors and aromas.

Freely translated, the word “Μ’ αρέσει” or two words (Μου αρέσει) means “I Like”.

We realized that if you write this word in Latin, something of the sea emerges from within [mare – sea]. First the Mediterranean Sea and then all the Seas of the world.

Here in Greece when we are asked about the Sea, we all answer “Maresi”.
